Structural Rehabilitation using Advanced Composite Materials (CFRP)
HBM has used carbon fiber to strengthen bridges with corrosion or impact damage, and the outcome have been remarkable. As an innovative rehabilitation material, carbon fiber was used on many bridges in emergency situations where vehicles hit any of the bridge structural elements. The design process is done in-house through previously tested and perfected methods. The application method usually takes less than a day causing very minimal to no disruptions to traffic.
